BY Publishing is a publishing brand operated by EYE AM STUDIOS, LLC. References to BY Publishing describe products, publications, and storefront experiences offered through EYE AM STUDIOS, LLC.

General grant

Unless a product page states otherwise, digital products sold through BY Publishing are licensed for personal use by the purchasing household or individual. EYE AM STUDIOS, LLC retains all intellectual property rights in the product, documentation, templates, and associated materials. Products are licensed—not sold—and no ownership of underlying intellectual property transfers to the buyer.

Permitted use

  • Install and use the licensed product for the authorized scope stated at purchase.
  • Print or export reasonable portions for personal household reference and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain backup copies for personal recovery and continuity.

Restrictions

  • No redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or public posting of product files.
  • No sharing of credentials, download links, or access tokens except as expressly permitted.
  • No removal of copyright, trademark, or license notices.
  • No reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • No commercial, institutional, consulting, or multi-property professional use unless a separate license is purchased.
  • No use of products to create competing derivative products beyond the scope of the license.
  • No introduction of malware or interference with product security.
  • No use that violates applicable law or infringes third-party rights.

Home Property Record System™ — Personal Edition

The Personal Edition is licensed for one household and one primary property record unless a different license is expressly purchased. The application is designed for local use; cloud hosting of buyer data is not required for Personal Edition operation.

Product requirements, supported browsers, device limitations, and installation instructions are stated on the product page and in product documentation. You are responsible for reviewing compatibility requirements before purchase and maintaining a compatible environment.

Version 1.x update entitlement

  • Personal Edition purchases include version 1.x updates for the Home Property Record System™ while that major version remains actively maintained.
  • Version 1.x updates include bug fixes, compatibility adjustments, documentation corrections, and feature refinements released within the 1.x product line.
  • Version 2.0 or later major releases may require a separate paid upgrade unless expressly included in a future offer.
  • Updates are provided subject to continued platform compatibility, supported browser environments, and product support availability.
  • Buyers must retain proof of purchase or active customer-library access to receive entitled updates.
  • Updates are delivered through the BY Digital Store customer library or an authorized secure download link associated with the purchaser's entitlement record.

Delivery and entitlement

License validity is tied to proof of purchase or active customer-library entitlement. Download access may be revoked for chargebacks, fraud, or material license violations.
